Blogs Arrive!

This year, as you know, one of our goals is to look at a variety of ways of communicating
between home and school as well as connecting locally, nationally and internationally.
On a very local level, as well as increasing the frequency of our face to face meetings
we are also experimenting with using technology in different ways.

As part of this 'experimentation' period during 2012 Matariki and Mahutonga have developed a class blog.
Blogging is a fantastic way to develop the key competencies and our online literacy.

We are ready to to communicate, connect and collaborate, locally and globally!
What we would love you to do is read our blog posts and leave us a comment.
If you want to leave us a comment please make it positive; tell us what you like about
what we've posted, the connections you've made with our posts or any questions you have to find out more.

Just click the comments box at the bottom of the post and we promise to write back shortly.
Please expect to find updates at least twice weekly about what we're learning about in class,
or information to help you understand more about learning in these areas.
