Mini Polo

Mini Polo is a primary school version of Water Polo. Mini Polo gives children in Years 4 to 6 the option of playing a ball sport in the water. Swimming confidence is a necessity.

The teams are made up of 7 players, and children are allowed to stand and move along the bottom of the pool but can only catch and throw with one hand.

It is played in the 1.2m pool at the Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre on Friday afternoons during Terms 1 and 4.

Practices are held on Tuesday mornings from from 7.15am to 8.00am at the Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre.
