Each year we submit our annual goals and plans to the Ministry of Education. This year, we have our refreshed Strategic Plan too - based on your thoughts around "What does success look like for my child".  

The Annual Goals encompass the whole but, for the sake of measurement, we have about 4 or 5 each year, based on data from the previous year, that are central to our focus.

This year, we have:

• students in the first 2 years of school

• students not making the expected progress or making good progress and are in need of extension

• Māori and Pasifika students

• students needing additional support and/or students identified by their teaching teams.

In terms of what the Government is requiring regarding cell phones in schools - we are fortunate as this isn't an issue for us here. We are confident that the hour a day of stand-alone and integrated Literacy and Mathematics implementation is securely and historically in place - and are counting up to triple check.
