Kia ora koutou,
As this final full week of the school year draws to a close, we acknowledge what a truly big year it has been! Every week in this newsletter, we aim to capture the highlights - the achievements, the learning, and the 'whys' and 'hows' behind our school's vibrant life.
This year has seen significant strides across all areas of school life - to name a few on top for me this week:
Strategic Direction: Successfully checking in and progressing our strategic plan goals.
Creative Arts: A terrific Arts celebration and the formation of our Super Singers and the Orchestra + Collab.
Academics: Delivering over 15 hours a week of quality reading, writing, and mathematics.
ERO Review: Achieving a great Education Review Office (ERO) outcome. Please see Week 4's newsletter
Sports: Introducing new sports and having a record number of sports teams.
Publishing: Producing a stand out student Zine, Te Wheke.
Our teachers have worked hard to create real-life, authentic learning experiences designed to inspire and ignite curiosity. We are wholly committed to teaching the whole child, ensuring high standards in academics while fully delivering on the arms of the Flourish Model: Positive Purpose, Health, Accomplishment, Relationships, and Emotions.
This all encompassing richness will certainly continue, and we have many exciting plans for the year ahead! A key goal is to 'elevate parent partnerships'. You can anticipate more opportunities to get inside what your child is learning at school as we are keen to keep strengthening this vital link.

Next week, you will receive a final brief news note on the last morning of school.
