The 2025 School Fair was an overwhelming success, a vibrant testament to the power of our community.
It was so much more than a fundraiser. Every corner of our school—from the top court to the grass, the classrooms, offices, and staffroom—was bursting with warmth and genuine connection. It was a joy to see so many past pupils and their families return, a powerful reminder of the lasting bond they share with this special place.
The Fair truly gave our FLOURISH Model a chance to shine. Positive Emotions, Accomplishment, Relationships, Health, and Purpose right before our eyes. Our children experienced adults being incredible community contributors, even if they were momentarily distracted by the candy floss, chips, and games! (Haha).
A massive dose of appreciation goes out to our incredible Fair Team, all the energetic volunteers, our dedicated staff (+ many plus ones), and also the past parents and students who pitched in. Let's not forget the sponsors!
This morning, the Board recognised all the parents who have given their time this year in many different hues and ways. The list is long. Also, to those whose contributions are unseen or unknown, thank you and I hope you are reading this!
Your effort makes our school a place of joy + support with a truly massive heart.
With a great soundtrack and not many bus issues evident the good times flowed. And yes, while it's "and not just" about the money—WOW!
We are thrilled with the fundraising total. This amazing achievement means we can provide a great library, new books, a part-time librarian, experts for Kapa Haka and Orchestra, and extra staffing for teachers and Learning Assistants. This all goes straight toward supporting our children's learning and achievement.
