The sun shone, the wind stilled and action was happening!

Thanks to all of you who made it to the School in Action morning last Friday. It was a terrific opportunity to take some of the mystery out of what happens once you leave the grounds away!

The real bonus was having Kimi Moana here sharing the work that she has been leading as a 'Creative in School'. It's amazing, and the Pou Project will be taking a few steps onwards towards its completion. Yippee!

I know that many of you found Dean Stanley's chat about what's been happening in terms of learning opportunities down in and around the Worser Bay Boating Club and shore. How great the opportunity has been for our children to be part of this work right from the very start. John has been a key person here, so chat to him if you missed out last week and are keen to understand more.

Beth continues to inspire us with her passion for Visual Literacy and all things Zine. She provided a great overview of this work and the excitement is high for the next edition which is on its way.

I've included the link for the Positive Education Strategy which I omitted from my brief chat about our Wellbeing focus here at school.

It was wonderful, also, to finally be in the Library space, albeit almost finished and devoid of 'stuff'. It does serve as a terrific meeting space. Christine Cross has been our 'Fond Friday Librarian' and 'Knowledgeable Friday Quizzer' for almost 20 years. Christine is changing roles and is moving from part time to full time. Sadly, this means she can’t work Fridays for us after August but will generously continue to help and train virtually as we need after she leaves her current role to befriend the National Library catalogues!

We are currently looking at different options and aim to advertise a Library-focused role soon.

One school week until the holiday break. I just look through the Newsletters and Blog pieces and think "WOW" - it's certainly been an action packed term!
