Time is flying and we have only 3 weeks left until we wrap Term 1 up in a big bow.
Hopefully this elusive Hikoi will go ahead in calm skies next week and we can finally fulfill that desire to connect to our local history together!
Please remember that this coming Monday 24 March the school is closed.
Local Primary and Intermediates in our Kāhui Ako are coming together to undertake Professional Learning on the new Maths Curriculum. Change isn't always smooth sailing and our teachers are putting their best 2 feet forward to make things work - it will take time and there will be some blips, I'm sure. Monday will be a very interesting day as it's good to chat in the gap between schools to see what's going on for others.

On Wednesday night we had our annual Positive Education / Wellbeing Parent Workshop. I think I counted about 30 of you who braved a chilly evening to join us and indulge in some learning together. It was a joy to share our work and have a bit of a proud moment! Big thanks to our teaching team who thought long and hard back in January as to what they would like to share. The Presentations from Wednesday evening can be found on our Positive Education tab on the website. You can find it here:
We had a few questions on post-it notes at the end. As we encouraged - we really want to keep this conversation flowing so thanks for the input. Teacher responses will be in next week's newsletter so check them out.
Find a bit of nature to enjoy for yourselves this weekend.
